Here is my interview with Sadie Grubor

Guess who got interviewed…. 😀

Hello and welcome to my blog, Author Interviews. My name is Fiona Mcvie.

Thank you for having me.

Let’s get you introduced to everyone, shall we? Tell us your name. What is your age?

I’m Sadie Grubor and while I’m coming up on the big 4-0, my maturity level is the equivalent of a 13 year old gay boy.  No seriously… I AM that terrible.

Fiona: Where are you from?

I am currently residing in Central Pennsylvania in a town roughly made up of about 320 people, one gas station, one small post office, and a McDonalds.  Yep, folks, that’s right, I don’t even get a damn Taco Bell.  *sniff sniff*  That’s about a 40 minute drive for me.  #SendTacos

Fiona: A little about your self (ie,  your education, family life, etc.).

*Cue Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire Music*

Now this is a story all about how

I married the man of every woman’s dreams.
My husband is the leading man in their filthy fantasies. I know because they’ve told me.
Matthew Barber is Tinsel Town’s most sought-after movie star and I’m the girl next door. Tinley Atkinson, the former child star with an Ivy League education, and the daughter of a deceased Broadway legend.
Three short years later, it’s all crashing down.
We were the quintessential celebrity couple—Mattley, Hollywood’s Heartthrob and America’s Sweetheart.
We fell in love, and the whole world watched as our fairytale romance unfolded between the pages of glossy magazines spreads and candid moments splashed online.
The public is fascinated with the rumors swirling around us—I’m the jilted wife and he’s the no-good cheater. I’m infertile and years of drug abuse is to blame. He wants kids and I would rather have a career.
He’s the love of my life.
What am I going to do about that?
Marriage is tough and it’s even tougher in Hollywood, I’m ready to fight . . .
For me.
For him.
For us.
Writer Christy Pastore grew up in the lakeside community of Syracuse, Indiana writing short stories that usually involved characters who loved to travel, had a passion for fashion and often times were swept up in boy crazy crushes involving coming of age situations with their best girlfriends.
After giving up reading books for several years disillusioned with the annoying characters and predictable plot lines. Upon the recommendation of a friend, Christy picked up a much buzzed about popular romance novel which reminded her of why reading was an enjoyable guilty pleasure.
Writing, more specifically creative writing has been a constant in Christy’s life, even leading her to create a popular fashion blog, Fashion Wrap Up, allowing her the wonderful experience of working and collaborating with many talented models, designers, makeup artists and photographers in the Fashion Industry. While Pastore still writes about fashion and celebrity style in her spare time, her passion for story development, publishing and content creation has taken her on a new journey and career path: Author.
Additionally, Christy enjoys a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc, a warm cup of coffee, Gummi Bears, traveling and tweeting her thoughts on her favorite TV shows.
Christy and her husband Kevin currently reside in St. Louis, Missouri in the popular Italian Neighborhood, The Hill with their two lovable dogs and cooler than cool cat.

I sat on the edge of the barstool, one foot on the floor the other bouncing nervously on the railing, as I watched my husband striding towards the restaurant. He stopped for a moment wrapping up a call, and then shoved his cellphone into the back pocket of his jeans.
Matthew was as handsome as the evening I met him, even after a fifteen-hour flight he looked every bit the perfectly polished movie star. Women stopped midstride bringing their phones to life. Their mouths hung open as their manicured fingers subtly pointed in his direction. My husband was the leading man in their filthy fantasies. I know because they’ve told me.
“Oh my, is that Matthew Barber?”
“He’s so hot. What I wouldn’t do to that man.”
Matthew’s dark hair was slicked back, his grey t-shirt straining over the thick muscles in his shoulders and arms. The fabric inched up over his biceps revealing colorful ink. His hazel eyes swept over me, and I couldn’t help but smile, despite the fact that I was pushing down the urge to cry.
“Hey, beautiful,” he said, before kissing my lips.
After dropping his bags onto the floor, he took a seat next to me and ordered a beer. I studied him for a long moment. Did he do it? My heart pounded in my chest, as I swiped my phone to life. I scanned the gossip pages again, feeling the tears welling in my eyes at the sight of the two of them holding each other—his hands pushing through her dark hair gazing at her the way he looked at me a moment ago.
Pictures can be deceiving, and this image—it could just be a scene from the movie. I couldn’t tell what was real or fake anymore. Rumors were swirling about their sizzling chemistry, and social media buzzed everyday about the two of them being the perfect onscreen couple. I understood the art of the movie business because my mother had been a performer of both stage and screen. From the movie stills, it was hard to deny that the two of them didn’t have that special spark that made movie magic. However, Matthew was that good—a very good actor.
Panic swirled inside me, and the words tumbled out.
“Did you sleep with her?” I asked, my eyes never leaving the phone screen.
“But you wanted to?”
“Are you in love with her?” I asked, finally looking up.
Matthew twisted the platinum band wrapped around his ring finger. “I don’t know.”
My hands shook as a breathy sob escaped my lips and my heart crumbled into a million broken pieces. “And you need to find out?”
“Tinley,” he said, the rich timbre of his voice washed over me, it was a sound filled with too many moments, too many memories. My marriage was falling apart and the whole world was watching.
Three years of marriage, four questions and his six words sent everything tumbling into blackness.

Bella Jeanisse lives for rock music. Addicted to concerts, Avenged Sevenfold, fictional rockers, and blasting music in the car, she can’t get enough. After her father turned her on to Queen, there was no going back. Of course, it didn’t stop there. Playing guitar became a pastime, which didn’t turn into a career… until she started to pen her fantasies and publish them.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York City, she grew up with access to clubs like L’Amour and CBGBs, hung out in Greenwich Village, as well as had plenty of friends in bands. No wonder rockers stayed on her mind. Bringing her ideas to life was a long time coming.

She is now living near Tampa, FL with 3 kids and 2 grandkids, as a single mom. Her family supports her writing even when it seems to take up more time than they feel is necessary. Can’t stop the muse, ya know!

Besides erotic rock star romances, Bella also writes about wild bikers, hot college men and more.

Ride My BEARD…

My entire life I have been in love with one man.
Ryker Stone.
It doesn’t matter that he is more than double my age.
I don’t care about the whispers that say he’s too wild to ever be tamed.
I like that he’s reckless.
He makes me feel like I can be uninhibited.
Truth is I saved myself for him.
I belong to him.

I’ve had my eye on Lola for more years than I should admit.
Her beauty drew me in, but it was her innocence that trapped me.
I shouldn’t want to claim her, but she’s all I desire. So I stay close and make damn sure no one else touches her.
I’m all wrong for her, but too damn stupid and hard-up to stay away.
She can run, but I’ll follow.
By the time it’s all said and done she’ll be riding my beard.

Warning: This is a short and over-the-top dirty novella that will have you searching out your very own dirty mechanic. It’s to the point and leaves noting to the imagination, but then again doesn’t everyone like it that way? *wink*
I walk over to Lola and don’t stop myself from reaching out and cupping one smooth, peach-colored cheek. I want to smack the flesh, spank her good and hard until my handprint is covering her pale flesh.

“Baby, I’m about to show you that working here, being around these motherfuckers, has consequences.” She looks over her shoulder at me, her eyes wide, her mouth parted.

“But it’s not my fault there are a bunch of assholes who come here,” she defends and if I wasn’t so fucking hard and ready to go off, I would smile.

No, it wasn’t her fault, but I need an excuse to touch her in the way I want to, in the way I need to. I also need her to understand that when it comes to her, to her safety—fuck, anything to do with her, I’m not about to be reasonable.

“Tell me you want my hands on you, want me to smack this perfect ass until the pleasure and pain melt into one, until my mark is on your body and you know that you’re mine.”

She still looks at me over her shoulder, her eyes so wide, her pretty, pink lips still parted.

“Tell me, dammit.” My voice is harsh, rough, exactly how I’m going to be with her. I won’t be satisfied until she is screaming out for more.
“Yes,” she says softly and I can hear the need in her voice. Her hands are stretched out in front of her, her fingers curled around the edge of the desk.

I take a step back and put my foot between her legs to kick her feet apart. I look down at her ass, her legs spread wide enough that I can see her pussy lips. They are pink and glossy, and slightly swollen from her arousal. My mouth waters and my balls draw up tight to my body.

I want to reach down and unzip my jeans, pull my dick out, and align it right at the entrance of her pussy hole. I want to shove it deep inside of her, claiming her cherry and making her know she’s mine.

Venture to the Dark Side with Me.

I’ve done it.  Placed my toe into the dark dark waters and brought you a twisted, dark tale that will have you embracing your inner bad girl/boy.  This story isn’t for those with delicate sensibilities & should not be read by anyone who needs trigger warnings or guarantees of Happily Ever After.  All I can promise is dirty, hot moments, twisted minds, and the realization that everyone has a soul mate – even the darkest and bloodiest of them.

Most kids don’t grow up wanting a dead-beat dad.  Those kids don’t understand how much worse it can truly be.  How it feels to grow up wishing your father was a neglectful dead beat and not a living nightmare.

I did. I do. And my safest place is to hide among the monsters. So, that’s what I do.  I blend into a sea of criminals and the depraved.  Any of them are far better company than my father.

It’s been over two years I’ve stayed safe, over two years of keeping the balance, over two years of being someone else and living their life.

Then he walks through the dark red lacquered doors of my hiding place. His eyes searching, probing, and knowing. Now, this temptation swirls on the tip of my tongue, teasing my taste buds, making me want to confess all my sins to a man who could punish me and free me in the most wonderfully worst ways.

This isn’t a romance. This isn’t a love story.

This is primal. This is raw. This is obsession.

Sometimes, love is messy.

The world of opera is surprisingly cutthroat and Gemma Harper, the latest diva in demand, knows this all too well.  She’s a natural commanding an operatic performance with minimal training, but apparently, pink hair, facial piercings, and being covered in tattoos negates her talent in most professional’s eyes. A BEAST claims his BEAUTY

Fiona Lamb has lost everything, and her only option is to work for a reclusive billionaire to get back the one thing that’s most important to her.

Reid Gold has been cursed. He’s the alpha shifter, but he’s unable to change into his wolf and lead his pack. But one scent of his mate and everything changes.

Warning: This beauty and the beast-inspired story is quick, filthy, and over-the-top alpha. Hold on to your Kindles because Reid’s inner beast finally gets to come out and play.

“Miss Lamb, Mr. Blackden is ready for you.”
I look up at the woman who has been watching me from the corner of her eye since I walked into Blackden Law Firm thirty minutes ago. I don’t blame her. I’m a mess and out of place against the elegant interior of the law firm. I know this, but I just can’t find the will to care. All I want is for this to be finished. I need to take the next step in my life and try to move on, if not for myself then for my grandma.

I told her I’d be okay and that I wouldn’t let my grief drag me down.
My grandma was buried yesterday, but final decisions on her estate had to be made. I’m here for one thing, and one thing alone. I pray there’s enough money from the sale of our home and antiques my grandma left me to cover the bill from the hospital. There is only one thing I want from all of this, and that’s the rose ring.

I want it more than anything. My grandma never took the ring off her finger since my grandpa put it there when he asked her to marry him. When I was little she’d tell me about their love as a bedtime story. Then when she got sick it was my turn to tell her the story as she lay in bed fighting for her life.

Even then I knew she was only fighting to stay with me. She didn’t want to leave me all alone in the world. I don’t remember my parents. The only family I had ever known were my grandma and grandpa, but in my eyes, they were my parents. They raised me, kept me safe, and made me feel loved. She and my grandpa were the only people I had and we’d lost him five years ago. Then it was just the two of us. But now she’s gone and I’m all alone.

I swallow the lump in my throat and stand. Reaching down, I grab my oversized bag that I’ve been carrying around since the auction. It’s all I have left. Everything else is gone.
The woman turns, heading down the long hallway, with her heels clicking on the marble with each step. She leads me to a set of double doors, the dark, carved wood gleaming. She grabs the handle and pulls one open for me. She motions for me to go in and nods as I pass.
“Thank you,” I mumble as I step through.

I hear the click of the door closing behind me as a man behind the desk on the other side of the room stands. I can see a small smile pull at his lips, but I can’t find it in me to smile back.

“Miss Lamb,” he says.

“Was there enough?” The words fall from my lips before I have a chance to think about it. And I’m not sure I care. That’s the only thing I need to know.

“Why don’t you have a seat?” He motions to one of the chairs in front of his desk, not answering my question.

I step forward, getting a better look at him. He doesn’t look like I thought he would. We talked on the phone a few times over the past weeks. His deep voice made me think he’d be a heavy-set man, but he isn’t. He’s thin and tall with brown hair and brown eyes. He gives me a bright smile, this time flashing his teeth. It makes me feel uncomfortable. Against my better judgment I do as he asks, even though I still want my answer more than anything. Something is wrong though. I can feel it.

I drop my bag next to the chair beside me, drawing Mr. Blackden’s eyes. I swear he smiles even more at the sight, and I want to shout at how unfair this all is. It’s nothing to smile at.
“We had to sell all of it, Miss Lamb.”

I close my eyes at his words and try to fight the tears. I nod, then begin to stand. What else is there to say? I don’t want to go over all the odds and ends of how everything was auctioned off. I want out of here. I want to find a cheap hotel for the night and let myself have a good cry.
Tomorrow I’ll pick myself up and see if I can get my old job back. I had to quit to be at my grandma’s side for the last few months, but I have to find something quick.

“But I can get it for you.” His deep voice penetrates my fog of sadness.
I freeze, my eyes snapping to his. He leans back in his chair, seemingly without a care in the world. He doesn’t go on. I feel as if he wants me to beg him, and to be honest, I will. I’m not above anything right now.

“How?” I ask, and he motions for me to sit back down. I drop down into the seat, but scoot to the edge.

“The ring was valued at $200,000,” he informs me. I gasp. “It had to be sold to cover the rest of the debts. Your grandmother had taken out a second mortgage on her home, and she also stated in her will to clear up any debt you had as well.”

I hang my head, my dark brown hair falling forward and shielding my face. I didn’t know she knew. I had run up some credit cards trying to make ends meet for us. I didn’t want her to know about them. I was going to take care of them later. It wasn’t something she needed to worry about.
“You said—”

“That I can get you the ring,” he finishes, sitting up in his chair. He grabs a folder and opens it. A large stack of papers sits inside it, clipped together.

“I have a job proposal for you. It’s a live-in job. You’d stay on the estate and assist the owner in anything he needs.”

“I’ll do it.” I stand up, grabbing a pen off the table. He turns the folder toward me, and I flip through the contract quickly to get to the last page. I see a place I need to sign, so I scratch my name on it quickly and toss the pen down.
When I look back up at Mr. Blackden, I watch as he grabs the papers from me, sliding them back into the folder.

“You smell fertile. Mr. Gold is going to be very pleased.”

I glance at the folder he has in his hand and wrinkle my brow in confusion. I have no idea what he’s talking about, but his words and the look on his face make me think that maybe I should have read that contract…
